I planned to back-half it and go drag racing. It's been here 1 year and looks the same as when I got it. My freinds tried to convince me to build it as a drift car...
Missing engine, trans, back window and little nick-nack parts. The car is semi-assembled. The only rust seems to be where the battery was and has been trimmed out for the most part. $500 OBO

I sold a green one, complete except for the engine and trans, in the same condition for $200 with a Ford 8" out of a V-8 Maverick. Also had the V-8 Vega home conversion books that give patterns adn dimensions for allthe mounts and mods. Still have copies of the books around here somewhere....
Should have kept it, it'd have had moss on it by now

I have the plans for all the motor mounts as well. I also hooked up a set of front V8 springs from a monza so it doesn't drag the ground when the motor is in.
When I got the car a year ago, my buddy was supposed to hook me up with a motor and trans from his uncles junkyard. He still has not talked to him. I ask him about it now and then and he keeps saying he will call.
In the mean time I have gone back to college and don't have the time or money to do this project properly.

Well if my wife doesn't start taking care of her Lexus and keeping the damn thing clean....I may take that off your hands for HER new ride !! What's the deal with women and their cars ? Maybe I'm just too anal !

Let me know if you want to replace the Lexus. I can arrange a test drive. My son and I can push it pretty fast and we make the VROOOOM VROOOOM sounds.

You could be right in time for the new movie Contact 2 if they were making it... Heavy Vega presence in the first one :rollside:
