overall not one of their better shows, but the kids were happy so I was happy

We were there in the middle of the bay. Not to bad in terms of the weather, rained lightly for about 10 minutes but the nothing during the show! The finale' was was a joke though! anyways, good times! :rollside:

Yes, the grand finale sucked and so did the azzhole in the partycat playing his redneck music during the whole thing..... :mad: The smokin'weed with Willie and the barroom song........whatever the goober music was... was very un-patriotic.. :mad:
The grub at Barley Bros. was good though.....as well as it sprinkled when the fireworks started to keep the gnats off. :crossx:

Was the storm still going off during the show? We left about 6:30 thinking they were not going to do it.

Unfortunately, what little rain there was just before the show managed to spoil only the set of shells designated for the finale. That's the bad news, the good news is the company that was contracted for the show agreed to inventory those shells and add them to next year's show, making it even better. Hopefully the weather will be better next year too.

The show at the AVI was cancelled due to a storm, they promise to make it up at their Labor day show.

We were out there. Rain came and went, no biggie. Grabbed dinner at Javelina then found a spot out in the bay. Glad they had the show. Always fun to watch fireworks while on the water.
