Could someone tell me what company would best provide me with a boat meeting or couming very close to these wants?
1. A large cat between 28-36 feet.
2. A very smooth ride.
3. Not too much of a gas hog.
4. A 150+ fuel capacity.
5. Cruise speed atleast 50mph
6. Very detailed and complex paint/gelcoat
7. Great hull construction.
8. $280 downward price.
9. Top speed 110+
10. Preferably a center console in front seating area.
11. F-16 style canopies.
12. guages really should be on the drivers side only instead of scattered all over.
I can't think of much else really. Atleast not at the time. I just want to know what to save my pennies towards. I've looked and looked but I figure you guys probably know a whole lot more than me. Any company directions would be great and phone #'s are always nice.
Thanks

Here, I will help all of the rest on this site while they are at lunch with their signed lunch boxes-hehe....DCB, DCB or DCB.
Check out Charley's new Mach F29 or go the ultimate Mach F34. Best looking boat, quality boat, and TRUE custom boat you could get.
Option 2- if you want outboards only (try the AMT 30- check out all the pics of the one painted by Dick Vale and rigged by WCRM) Absolutely beautiful boat.

Here's Charley's boat: he can give you the details but it ran 125mph with twin Peto NA motors--and rumor on the street is even with him sitting on the phone books, the canopies still work-hehe.
PS- Charley- I'm jealous of your boat and I've only seen it at the boat show with engines :D

Roln 20s I know about that boat. I did a write up on it on my site. Any Idea what it costs? And any good boats that have that center console in the $280k downward area?

I think you would have to go "ALL OUT" for this boat to touch the 280 range--my guess is 200-225K.
Center console-- look into the new FORCE Offshore 32. They are building a canopy one right now.
Here is the AMT that I mentioned (sure you have seen it too)

Other than that- I don't really know of any "west coast" boats that have center consoles!

I think you could to the AMT for a lot less than 200k.
Skater also builds some very nice stuff.

I think you could to the AMT for a lot less than 200k. I agree- I think you could do a brand new one with some killer graphics and twin 300x's for the mid 100's maximum-- just no canopies and you run outboards, but 110mph is a 110mph, no matter what you use to get there.

For the performance and $$$ SPECTRE POWERBOATS all the way.
-True Tunnel
-Deep Sponsons
-Very efficient hull design
-Center console throttle and shifters
-Very strong / sturdy construction
-Built for brutal offshore racing
-I/O or Outboards
-30' or 36'
-Customer service is excellent
-Loves rough water
-Very smooth ride
-Large fuel capacity
-Custom paint anyway you like
If you can afford it, a Skater is the best PERIOD, but you better have some deep pockets. :D

I was just hunting and what about motion? Seems like a lot of bang for the buck. I'm not going to be going 150MPH in it but it looks like a nice piece of giddy up. Anything good to say about them besides the unbelievable price?
