I thought it was time to put on a belt guard and to protect the fuel lines (photo does not show it, but the fuel lines clear the guard by 1.5 inches). I did not want a fully enclosed guard, so I contacted Robyn Ogilvie a machinist who lives in Melbourne, Australia. Robyn had been making guards for street rods, so I contacted him and talked him into doing one for a boat. Robyn can make anything if you can give him the measurements he needs and at a reasonable price. So if anyone is interested here is his email address: pinklc@optusnet.com.au

That looks pretty sweet, how much did it run you?

Thanks, Glad you liked it -
I think it is really unique - it has that Australian look for sure.
I really don't want to quote a price for Robyn due to the fact that this was a one off build for a boat - but I will say that the price was very, very reasonable. He does really cool guards for cars for about $135 U.S.D. - and now that he is set up for boats I would just drop him a line. His work is really nice and a great person to work with.
