Force Offshore came out to NYC to attend the New York City Poker Run held on Saturday June 14 by the NPBA. Force proudly featured it's new 32 Cat which provided outstanding performance and reliablity in pack of world class offshore boats such as: Outerlimits,Skater,NorTech,Cigarette,Eliminator,Sp ectre,Sonic and a few more. Out of a field of 130 participants Force finished an unofficial 12th position. I will post some photos that I took from the boat with more to come later on this week from friends who shot our boat. The incredible accelleration on the Force boat got it to the front of the pack for the first 4 or 5 minutes of the run. It was then only past by 11 other high power boats (cats and V's) with substantialy more power, lengh and of course price tags. A fantstic debut performance for Force with a 32 Cat w twin 650HP motors. Our average speed was a sustained 102 MPH for the entire 75 mile course. That was with 5 guys all over 220 LBS and topped off fuel tanks. The air temp was 75 degrees and the water was 60 degrees with a 1-2 foot moderate chop. Brad Ayres the owner of Force Offshore was the driver who was textbook perfect on the wheel and attack of the course. John Monigold ( head technician/wrencher ) for Force held throttle position and also did a fantastic job in both co-piloting and dialing in the boat's motors and drives before the run. Force plans on competing in several major poker runs around the nation in the coming months and will return to NY next year with more boats and more power to make even a bigger statement in the industry. I am sure many of you have several questions about this event and who got spanked by our boat. I will do my best to answer them all as objectively as possible. I will try to post some pics below...I hope this works. How do you post pics from files on the pc not from the web?

This particular poker run as a race segment that starts at the Geaorge Washington bridge and ends at the Tappan Zee Bridge. The Boats are are ranked in the order that they pass under the second bridge. NPBA posts the first 10 boats on their poker run recap. The Force boat finsished 11th behind the Eliminator full canopy superlight race boat which came in #10. :D :D :D
The above recap was written by me. It is not a press release. I am sure formal recaps will appear in the major publications within the next few weeks. In addition the edited video will be presented on Speed Vision at a later date.

Not bad at all for your first NY run and light Horsepower. I see you came in right after eliminator. Next year you'll have to throw a couple of big blown engines in that bad boy.

I am trying to contact some others that did the run too. I only have the photos that I took from inside the Force boat before and duroing the run. We are getting addition photos and video footage from the chopper next week. For now I only have shots from one perspective point. I know that sucks but hey... better than nothing at all for now.
