very cool pix, Havasu is going to be dry for at least 5 days. Drier air moving in this week.

I was at Mohave all last week, and we got nailed on a couple days. We tried to go to the dam on Thursday, and hit a wall of water. It looked like low clouds in the canyon, but it turned out to be golf ball sized rain drops. Heard there was hail in Boulder too. Lightening was striking down in the canyons near the water. Huge wind gusts and then we turned and high tailed staying at the front of the wind riding 4 ft wind waves (luckily with the wind).
I have been on Powell when the weather changed in 20 minutes from a nice glassy ski ride, to 6-7 wind waves and lightening all over with those fogs all over. It is pretty cool when you are are on safe ground, but pretty f'n scary on a 20 ft boat in the middle of it.
When you getting castrated and getting a pontoon?

Those are awesome pics. The sound of the falls must have been really cool.. I'd hate to be out on Powel in a small boat durring that time. Would feel like Victory at Sea.

If you keep your current boat, like the real men, there is no castration requirement when you purchase your 'Toon. All these fags and their complete conversions to 'toons is just sickening. And then they try to justify it...."The wife loves it, the kids love it, who needs to go fast, life is short, lets take a nature walk"....and the next thing you know, you and Roz are off walking naked in the giggle weeds in the no wake zone creating your own motion of the ocean. :yuk:

This is a good visual of why the Powell How-to stuff says to never camp next to a wall or overhang. Can you imagine waking up to a waterfall, mud, and boulders falling on top of you in the middle of the night? :)
