Pardon my ignorance, but can someone tell me what is involved in the installation of a whirlaway?
Is this something I can do myself or do I need expert help here.
Also, who is a good source for these...and are they expensive?
Finally, how often should shaft bushings be changed? and which is better, rubber or fiber for a boat that is raced only occasionally? thanks.

I would send it to JJ Beaverfab in Dallas. He is a great person to work with .
I would let him install it or get the parts from him .
You will also have to cut your prop shaft down ,

Sent you a PM, yes you can install it yourself. I need to know if it is a 6 bolt or 5 bolt, right or left hand rotation, and out put shaft size? Prop shaft release cost $650.00 complete. Thanks j.j.
