Looking for a 21' jet or maybe a I/O from Ultra. I have found the following, I assume they are all made by J. West? I know I will get killed at Havasu in the 21 on a bad day, but we also head to the River a lot too.
Boats.
Ultra LX 2001
Ultra XT 2001
Ultra Stealth 2001
There is also a RS?
Can anbody shed some light on this for me?
thanks!

Pretty sure the bottom of all those boats are the same. 18 degree 4 strake rounded keel jet boat design.
The XT has a deck that is more flowing with a smaller cabin and larger open bow area. More classic looking.
The LX has more cab forward design with back facing jump seats behind the driver/passenger buckets. The open bow is much smaller.
The Stealth is similar to the LX with a different deck design.
Personally - I like the XT the best with its flowing deck design and non-cab forward layout. With more weight distributed in the back of the boat it will be a little faster and ride better than cab forwards.

Thanks, I will try to get in touch with them. Is a setback jet have any other advatage other that it's easier to clean out?

If you are going to go with the 502/502 for instance I would go with the setback. It will perform a bit better.

Definately get a set back installation with a rideplate and machined shoe. It will run faster and turn better.

Well then that crosses a couple boats off the list. The ones I am seeing in 2001 are 454 not all of them have a set-back pump.
