Since I can't seem to register for the classified section, I have no choice but to use the new classifieds know as Cats & Tunnels.
I don't know what's in the water lately but it seems everyone wants to sell.
Here is an awesome 26' DCB a friend of mine is selling; I'm almost tempted to get it after I sell the warlock except I need to pull more money out than the difference between our two boats.
It's a 2001 Mach26 DCB., Blown 509, 25 hours on New Motor, All the Right Stuff! XR Drive with Upgrades, 1:36 Gears, Immaculate condition,
Asking $ 81,000.00 contact him at (928) 764-1099 HM or (928) 230-1004 cell for more info.
Here is a picture from this last week end:

It really does look good...in the pic you had of it prior to selling it was hard to make out the color combo...it almost looked black...it looks really good.

We have to much $$$ tied up in the Cig, and we just bought a new Weekend warrior trailer for the desert and will be shopping for a buggy soon.
The new owner called me a few weeks ago when he decided he was going to sell, and I won't say that it has not tempted me. :D
I still have two matching Lifelines for that boat

I have been looking for a picture of that boat so I could sell it to the wife. I really want to buy that boat. I guess only time will tell if I can sell the mach 22 in time or not.

Kevin,
The owner said he was looking to downsize. I don't know exactly what he is looking for, but might be worth a try
BTW, The owner is a very cool guy.

Chris, I believe he told me he was looking at a schiada. He was looking for something in the 21-22 foot range that was not as much work to keep clean. The mach 22 is a lot of work to keep the rear clean, of course you know because you had a boat with twin outboards.

I am going to rob a f*cking bank and buy one of the god damn boats.

JROCKET, With twins hanging off the back there is a lot of stuff to clean. The rear bracket with the swim step plus the tie bar that is always in your way and the wpm steering. water spots on everything. I wish I had a picture of the rear bracket area of the twin that would show all the little areas that need to be cleaned and waxed :D .

Kab, I am sure the twins are tough to keep clean, but I had to wax the back of the Mach 26 everytime I got off the lake due to the exhaust residue (or black back)...just seems the motor runs rich and blackens the black and the only way to get it off after a couple of days of sitting 24x7 in the water was wax....less hardware, but the blackstuff makes you work to get it off... :)
I see the black back with alot of cats in Parker/Havasu...

Oh you mean in general, theres alot to clean.I gotcha! I thought you were having problems with soot build up or something.Im getting really sick of having to clean the back of the transom on my Mach 26.These HP500's are gross polluters! It will be alot better when the Whipple is put on,cleans up the mapping in the ecu. :D

I agree that mach 26 that we owned wink did blacken the transom badly. It was work to get clean, but it was open space, try ducking between motors and tiebars and brackets. I guess it just seems like the rear of the twin takes twice as long to get clean as the mach 26.

It probably is a pain to clean with all the brackets and things in the way,but it still looks BAD ASS if you ask me Kab!!! :D

I spend more time on the back of the mach 22 with a single strapon than the whole rest fo the boat. I'm sure it's the same way on other boats right it's not just a DCB thing is it?? eek!

Kevin is right, the twin O/B setup was a big pain in the ass to clean the transom. The blown I/O though has alot to polish. I don't know what was worse.
The picture of the boat in the water is me driving when we first got it.

That is one bad mofo. Can anyone tell me what is under the deck of the mach 26? Is any of it usable or accessable?

we just bought a new Weekend warrior trailer for the desert and will be shopping for a buggy soon. Congrats on the new trailer. What kindo of buggy will you be looking for. Make sure to take a look at the new Funco Big 5, Generation 4. I'm picking up the first on this Saturday. Shopped them all and rode in most. Hands down the best handling buggy out there. Here's mine in the works. The sand is addicting, I thought boating was expensive.

That is a sick buggy....what kind of motor is that? Also, are those Air Bag King's? I always see Coilovers.

It's running a 450hp Turbo Subaru 2.5L. Didn't want to run the LS1 or Northstar, too much weight for my kind of dunning.
It's gonna run air bags and King external bypass shocks. Shocks weren't mounted at the time. :D

Hi Duane,
It's too funny... I was doing some lurking on the Glamis sites before we bought the trailer and saw you posting about the buggy you've got for sale ~ so I forwarded it to Chris and told him that it was you wink
Are you going to Havasu anytime soon? We need to get an ocean run lined up... I think we'll be in Havasu this weekend and then get an offshore weekend in the next couple of weeks or so.
Thanks Charley! We got the new Powerboat yesterday and you're boat is lookin' good! We just need to see it in person one of these days! :p Did you see the 105mph Cig? That's what Chris wants out of ours ~ right now we like the warranties... eek!
Kab ~ Steve told me he wanted a Schiada too... they boat during the week when it's calm so he wants a smaller boat that's easier to take care of. Do we blame him??? wink

Tell chris if he cuts a giant tunnel down the middle of that cig he could do 105mph with the HP's wink :D

Duane,
That car is sweet!!! I think we are going to get a hard pack car though. All my old Glamis friends go to Ocotillo now, and we want something we can run at Havasu in the offseason as well. Who knows, we will see what happens.
Charley,
After reading the article on the Cig I want more power!! New motors or Whipples?? :D
HD,
There is carpeted crawl space under the deck, dual coolers, and storage in the sponsons. At least that's the way it was when I sold it.

Charley

I'd say whipples ;)those hp500's are a good start!
