It should be a good time. Last year we did a lunch run into San Francisco the day before the poker run - 180 mile round trip with a pass under the Golden Gate bridge, areound Alcatraz island, and by fisherman's wharf.
What kind of info are you looking for on SCOPE - the website is www.scopeinfo.com for starters
I think that trip is gonna be a little more expensive this year! LOL
This was a very fun poker run...met alot of cool people! Just keep an eye on your temp gauges and bring some extra impellers. I sucked up a bunch of crap in some of those narrow channels!

Yeah - We boated to lunch at a restaurant in Tiburon, stopped for Fuel in Sausalito, then around Alcatraz and back. One of the boats had a chartplotter and the total distance was over 180 miles..

Who's going to the Big Cat Poker Run up in the delta this year? I have gone the last few years and it's a blast... I think there are about 15 boats from SCOPE who are heading up there - anyone else???
I'll be hanging with Bobbitt & Guillen in Risky Busine$$........ :cool:

Yep that is a pretty common day up here on the Delta. Every time we go un a lunch run we usally will run between 100 and 120 miles. If you have never been up here you owe yourself a visit.

Pretty much gone this time of year but as always you need to be on the look out. If you stay in the bigger channels you wont see too many at all, however some of the smaller channels still have a few.

Never been on the big cat run but I was thinking about it this year. I am out of Stockton and just thinking about doing the run on Saturday. Maybe pull the boat to Disco bay Saturday morning. So what are the stops for that run?

This Holiday Inn?? I had rooms booked there for this year, but they screwed up my reservation and only booked it for Thur night, even though they had me down for the big cat rate...
Looks like we will be staying in Tracy unless something opens up closer. :mad: :mad:

Not sure- KROOZIN turns into a pumpkin anytime a boat trip is mentioned. :notam:
He also told me that he wouldn't want to embarrass Ris"Gay" Business in front of their hometown fans since they'll probably be lining up along the docks at the bathhouses cheering you on.

Holiday Inn is in Brentwood and no it is land locked.

I did see a few smaller v hulls out last year and I dont think you would have any problems at all.
