clearing aluminum

has any body clearcoated the aluminum logs with clear vht paint? or any other aluminum parts that get hot and are a bxxxx to rempve water spots?

Steve, I Sand Blasted A Set I Had And Used The High Temp Clear On.they Looked Good, Like Clean Alum. All The Time.eventually They Turned Brown Near The Exhaust Ports Though.
