Pretty blanket statement don't you think  I think there are far more lakes in California then Az. Try getting out a little more. There is more to the Cali boating scene then the SoCal region.Have you been to Shasta, Orville, Don Predro? I'll leave it at that.......................
Nice Marina though

Noted..... :D
And to list ALL the lakes would be a LOOOONG list. I have the California lakes book at home and its about 200 pages with about 75% of the lakes boating/speed friendly :D

Looks like the Marina they built at Roosevelt or at least same concept.

I just see more boats and crowds and that lake is puny to begin with. Pretty soon there won't be room to boat, it will just be a giant wet slip storage facility :D
I'll take a lake with almost no services and remote shoreline. Well maybe except Lake Travis in Austin. I could retire there tommorow in a nice water front home with a private boat dock. That's real lake living.

that lake doesnt need more slips it need les people on it. between the news running stories about humbug cove and all the guys telling their buddies it gets stupid busy with people who dont have a clue about boating.
