Just going by what I found for my 25 Daytona with a 502 Mag, you should expect to pay about $2500 for a 26 with the 500EFI. I was only able to find 2 companies that would insure it. Good Luck

I was paying around 2250 a year with Markel..2002 Mach 26 with 502, but I just went and consolidated all of my insurances with a certain agent, and he was able to get my Cat covered by Farmers with all of of my policies 2 homes, cars, boat and now through Farmers the cat is now 1350. Without all of the other policies, he could not have gotten the exclusion...also he was cheaper on the other policies...if you want his specific info, let me know.

darla has a list @ dcb with companies that will insure it...worldwide will probably be the cheapest, but you can try the others on the list.

I have my stuff through Allstate, but I dont think they will cover any cats. Will AAA cover them or not? I might have to switch all of my stuff over to somebody else so I can get the good deal! :)

I called Darla when I was interested in Stan's Mach22 w/twins.After she told me about the horror storys and prices i should expect I gave that route up quickly.Im hoping to find some good coverage at a descent price, just like everyone else wants!!! :)

Somebody else here on the boards gave me the name of an agent (AAA), and they do cats. They initially quoted me 950ish....but they had to submit me to approval (still in process as of Friday)..I had to sign up since my home and cars were lapsing, so I went with Farmers...the overall deal there was better with all I was insuring, and AAA could not do my California home. If you want the name of the AAA agent, let me know...there price was ridiculously low which also kind of made me wonder.
Are you getting a MACH?

Thanks His name is Devin Wozencraft, Farmer's Agent in Tustin...I don't have his number (its at my office), but call 411, and they can provide..you can tell him Mike Brown referred you if he asks, BTW all the coverages he got for me were better than I was getting with Markel, and with no layup period.

I am going to sign up with AAA this week I think. They queted me at 1600 ish a year when I first checked. Other companies........ $3,500 all the way up to $4,400 a year. And that is with all of them using the same to companies. That's a clean driving record and a lot of experience.

andy, keep us posted on that AAA insurance. It almost sounds too good to be true, if it is true, get me the information via e-mail. Your quote is $900 less than I'm paying now.

So has stan sold his twin yet? I like evryone at one time was really thinking about that one. I bet one could get a outragous deal on it! like mid 40K's eek!
So did you get a new 26? if not I'll make ya a deal on a nice 03 MACH22 wink

2500, WOW!, what makes them so damn expensive. the hull only or is it the power and price. That's like 2000 more than my last boat, but it was only worth 50k. Even so 2,500, jeez.
