Hey all - new to the forum :)
My father has a 77 Caribbean jet with a buit 460ci Ford in it, had it since the boat was new. I grew up around the boat and love performance boating, now that I am older (25) I have been toying with the idea of getting a boat of my own.
While I love the jet, I have always wanted a high performance outboard. Something about the sound of them at 9k make me :)
I am pretty in the dark however on brands, etc....I know that I would like something between 16'-18', seat 4 people and not too expensive. I've been poking around online but havent come up with much.
Point me in the right direction :) :)

Where do you live, and what type of boating do you do. Do you need a rough water boat?

Over the last year, I've seen some beautiful boats in the spam section. Try here and the Boat Trader. Good luck!!

Check out the Allison Grand Sport Elite with a 225 or 250 promax or xs. 95-100mph and a great ski tube family boat too. Very hard to beat easy to follow. I was like you and have no regrets at all. Good on gas to! My avitar is my Allison, James
