I'm shocked that didn't work. Don't most helicopters come with a tow hitch?
Did you get my PM the other day?

I've never seen that before. LMAO
You would think that if the guy could fly the helicopter, he would know that it would not work.
Poor Jet Ranger, in the drink! Those heilcopta (Reggie Fountain accent) aint cheap either.

Thats a nice trade-off. A million dollar helicopter for a 6,000 boat.

That right there was a great physics lesson......
In the helicopter world that was called a "Dynamic Roll-Over".....
Thats a first week ground school lesson.....
The pivot point on the ship changed from the direct center to the aft.....
Just like moving the fulcrum on a lever....
That scenario typically happens whan one of the helicopter skids contacts an object on the ground, say a taxi-way marker light or such, and that point then becomes the fulcrum.
Then the other skid becomes elevated greater than 15 degrees from the fulcrum.
Then.....finally......the normal upward thrust from the main rotor shifts to one side and pulls the ship over.....
But, as that brain surgeon figured out, it can also happen in the air.....
Later,
CJG
