I just got one of these things! has anyone ever seen them???? Unreal! I pulled a 220lb buddy on it this weekend and he glided at about 8'! his girl got on there and hit 15', then crashed. Scary stuff. but its so big, i got 6 people on it and pulled them all over the lake. What a blast!

We though them cool until one almost slammed into us, and we've seen a few kids hurt on them.
They're more dangerous than they look.

Has anyone noticed that in every ad and video for the Manta and Wego, there are ADULTS riding them? Gee, ya think maybe kids shouldn't ride on 'em?

Actually, Ive only seen kids or teens riding them. Ours says not recommended for anyone over 170lbs. But that is a catch 22 being adults probably can ride it better. Im sure what theyre saying is the bigger the person, the faster you must go which is when it really gets dagnerous.
Mostly, we just use it to tube on. it holds 6 people and wont lift up unless you get on the very back and pry the front up.

ya know as much as it looks fun....its kinda like driving a airplane without any controls.......it goes where it wants to.......how long did the company that makes em think it would be before someone sued em or got killed? great idea......bad thinking behind it...... :argue:

well, if you have learned how to ride it, you can steer it. it is however still dangerous. you can watch a vid of it here: click on the "Real Player" version. it is much longer and detailed. But like i said, we mostly use it just to lay on and tube with it.
