I'm looking for a project jet boat. I'll consider most things, but would prefer something fairly straight foward. ex: paint, interior, mtr, etc. not much on transom/fiberglass repair or rotten wood. In Georgia
Thanks,
Tom

i've got a turn key taylor sj for sale in southeast okla. that just need the top repainted. all interior, all wood(floor, stringers, seat frames),wiring, pump, bbf 750hp(no2) are new.its cheaper to buy a boat that's done then spending all the dough and time makin it run, trust me on this one!

thanks guys. I know it's cheaper to buy it finished, but I find it easer to spend a little at a time rather than slapping down big money at once. Besides My wife thinks I only need one boat. I would find it easer telling my wife
I couldn't pass this inexpensive deal up.

The biggest issue it seems would be the distance to pick up. I'm down in Georgia. I did go to the Jersey coast for my last boat, man what a haul
Anybody in the south east??
If you have any picks or could pm me with prices that woud be very nice. I don't know that much about the diferent makes and models so a pic really helps me.
snake321,toto,delawaredave.. any pics?

since you`re in georgia, do you know about the race in Augusta this very weekend? if you`ve never seen a boat run 200 mph this is where its happening. or come on over to the gadsden al. july 28-29-30 races. i`ll be there running a red earl smith texas tunnel hull boat named underdog in the m/e class. two good places to find a boat and have a good time also.

hey, I thought I would throw this out there for anybody who cares.
I deal with commercial fitness equipment,(treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, etc)
I also have a very solid complete rolling chasis(project) 72 RS (true split bumper) camaro.
I would be willing to work a trade on any type of combo if anyone is interested????

Dont do it . unless you have money pouring out of your pockets. I bought my first jet boat a project boat 2 years ago and still havent got the hull wet.all the boat needed was a engine well 11K+ later just on building a new moter I am still not on the water yet . Buy a good runner and improve on that in the off season. just my 2 cents

Yes, projects can turn into nightmares. I think if I look and learn I can pick the right one and probably be ok on the deal.
This is my latest ,(that I finished.) You may not be able to see pics unless you pay up ,...sorry.
