Website says American Turbine Jet for the V8's or a Mercury Jet set up. I would have thought it would have been some kind of fabricated titanim thingamagig.
One year I sucked a small rock at take off point ramp and it put me out for a rebuild. They must go through the equipment.

One of the comments on this video said it was this type of boat
thes boats are inboard jet boats powered by a 240 merc made by eagle racing , the hull is made up of .5in aluminum, then .25in. steel then .5in nylon plating on top of that. As far as hurting these boats i havn't seen anybod y do it and that includes running them 60yds up a gravel bar. also as far as sucking stuff in the jet they have an auger bit impeller that just chew s stuff up and spits it out the back
