I need quite a bit of parts for my boat and I am just wondering where I can get the best deals? What ebsites should I check? any companies that I need to call?
Things I need before the 28th for a river trip:
twistie headers for a 460
Some sick valve covers
Impeller and wear ring
pump for my hydraulic place diverter
sterring wheel and control for the diverter
new starter( I think I have this one covered)
Shift cable(should have one in stock)
the list goes on and on and I am trying for the 28th I have a trip planned already and would really like to make it. I get to pull the motor and fix a couple oil leaks (yaaaay
:yuk: ), reseal the intake paint and drop it back in, then all the rest of the stuff. I am also trying to get new wheels and tires and fenders But that is pushing it hopefully I will have those by the time I go to havasu in aug I want to get some sick wheels but not go to crazy interms of price, anyone have any ideas?
thanks for any help you give!

Call Duane Oblander @ Hi-Tech Performance
316-797-8616
Should be able to have everything dropshipped to you (I think) and takes plastic. Overnighted if you need.
Unique Aluminum Products carries some neat valve covers for BBF's:

I have had great personal experience buying both from www.rexmar.com and from www.jetboatperformance.com
Rex has a snazzy website and more of a big store feel. I ordered a cable once and got it the next day. JBP has stuff listed on the website, but you call the owner to place your order. It is a small family biz located in Atascadero, and Tom has given me good service and is patient and knowledgable with suggestions. No BS. Both are highly recommended.

I am still debating on the valve covers being alum or chrome right now I have seen many sets with waterspots burned into them after one trip out and my boat is pretty wet What do you guys think?

This would probably get more responses if you started it as a new thread. :rollside:
