el cap this weekend?

I was thinking about going down sat. or sun. for a test run before i dragged it to the river. Is there any beaches to hang out on? how do they feel about over transom headers (baffled)? Is it relaxed where i can open it up for a second or maybe shoot the roost and not worry about a ticket? And finally is anyone else gonna be out there? Thanks for any info.

If I wasn't out of town... I would probably head out there. I haven't been to El Cap, but have been to San Vin. San Vin is a nice reserviour. I haven't had any problems with speed, roost, or sound. I hear it fills up, so you may want to get there early. Enjoy
