Norwegian Carribean has a $699 per person kick ass deal going around the Hawaiian Islands.
Kids are usually cheaper.
The ships are awsum.
Absofuc#!nlutely fantastic.
Gyro stabilized,, lots of entertainment, and cool things on the ship and ashore. Really a good cruise.
US registered ship, it's the place all the good cruise industry employees want to work, so they are the best.
Ya gotta call and get this rate, it often doesn't show on their website,, and see if their airfare is better than what you can book yourself on the net.
I haven't has any luck with a travel agent in 10 years.
If that doesn't fit the budget, their are warm water winter cruises outta Fla on Royal Carribean.
Don't know if they're kick ass, but I guarantee they'll be very good.
$299 per adult for a 5 day with $149 each kid.

Thx....I was just on their site and was looking at ships. Trying to figure out which one is best. Were looking for a nice private suite on whatever the best ship is...Hawaii is ok....but anywhere on a killer ship is ok with me.

Thanks. I am looking for a really nice time...price doesnt matter.....If price really does not matter, then you should consider Crystal, Seabourn, or Silversea. Those are pretty well recognized as the best cruise lines in the world.
See Conde Nast Best of the Best (http://www.concierge.com/bestof/cruisepoll/bestofthebest) for example.
Have fun! :)

I would definatly go to Southern Caribean on Celebrity. Awesome service and awesome boats. I would not go on the Princess to the Western Caribean, Shity service and yucky boat and crapy ports.

Ditto, well said and so true.
Celebrity is a really good line,

We didn't care for Carnival either. Employees in pain.

I have been on Royal Caribbean ships 8 times.
The best ships are the biger ones. Rock climbing walls, ice skateing, ect. I have never had bad service on any of the ships, even the 4 day cruises. They treated us like royalty each and every time.
I like sailing out of San Juan the best and doing the western Caribbean route.

RatherBinLHC knows his cruise lines. Some lines are more kid-friendly than others. Ask some questions in case you don't want to end up with a ship full of old-school ballers that value their peace and quiet...
I defer to more experienced cruisers, but I've had two good experiences on Royal Carribean. Back in the day when the ships were smaller, and didn't have mini-golf, rock walls, ice rinks, etc. Food was very good, wine service was knowledgable and proper. Service was excellent across the board.
Sounds like you're ready to kick it up a notch or two over RCCL, though...
Bon Voyage !

NCNB,
I am doing just that....talking to people who have literally been there done that. To start at least. Dont want a crazy party boat but dont want a bunch of crusty old farts either. The RCCL has some nice stuff....from what I see it looks like 9 days for the four of us is right at $18K.... I am sure these new ships are just awsome. Cant wait......
Thanks..

Ya only have to be 18 to use the nite clubs and bars and shows and casinos.
Some of the shows can be risk'y. If Benny Hill kinda comedy is offense to someone they should avoid the shows.
