Engine noise coming through my amp

So I have a 4 channel amp running my mids and highs and I'm getting a ton of engine noise running through it. I installed some cheapo line filters and they cleared it up for about 4 days. The noise is now back and it's driving me crazy. Are there any good filters out there that will actually work?

I think this is often caused by a bad ground. You might start there, sorry don't know of any good filters.

yup...bad ground or possibly a bad voltage regulator depending on the vehicle.

filters are a bandage bad ground,should go to batt if in boat,bad rca check with new ones or ones off other amp ect,bad head unit not as likely bad voltage regulator possible
if in havasu will check out for free.

one of two things bad ground or undersized unsheilded wires
who did the install? so we all can stay away :p
