I am getting wheels and tires for my '06 crew cab, long bed 4 x 4, duramax 2500. I hate it when the tires stick outside of the fenders. I know they will a liittle, but I want them as far under as possible.
35" tires and 17" or 18" x 8' wide rims.
What back space do I need to keep them in as far as possible without hitting anything inside.
It is also getting a Pro Comp 6" lift.
Thanks
Brian

I'm sure that soon enough you will have more answers then you want but, my .02 is to keep 12" wide or less tire on 8 or 8.5" wheel. As far as backspace, most suspension companies will have a max of 4" or 4.5" to clear the spindles and arms. Many people here do not like the procomp stuff, it is how ever the best at keeping your tires inside.
good luck

Thanks for the response. I got some good info on this subject in the Sandbar.
