Last weekend I was up near Auburn fixing my dads and some neighbors A/C.
Whoa it was hot!
I dropped down to Roseville for some parts,, and driving around I noticed how many people own boats AND Bobcat front end loaders.
What is it with that?
I'd love to own a bobcat!
I'll take pix to prove my point next trip up.

Seems more boat owners along the divide than at the river.

I think its just the amount of construction/contractors/landscapers in the area.......also you forgot to mention how many TOWboat owners in the area :lightsabe

Neighbor has 3 bobcats and one catepillar on rubber tracks. He uses them to move rice around in a flat storage warehouse.

Its for moving thier piles of money around.... :)
I hate to say it, but its just a bob cat. Its not that uncommen for a good size contractor to own one. I mean really if you need one more then two or three times a month your losing money on renting them.

No bobcat, but got mid-size Kubota...
Front end loader, grader box, PTO post hole auger PTO Brush Hog.
When ya live out in the sticks, have 11 acres to care for it makes sense.
You were only about 45 min away, TPC. Wish I'd known.. :) Sounds like you were out towards Foresthill.
Lots of lakes up here to play on.

The per-capita boat ownership ratio has to be in the high percentile from SF to Tahoe.
I took the wifie to a place called The Brookside Grille in old town Auburn.
Teriffic atmosphere, burgers and good prices.
I suggest anyone go there for a casual meal, wine and beer.
Outdoor covered, the brook runs right through the place.
Really nice.
Any biz that bakes it's own hamburger buns and spins their own fri's is usually a big hit taste wise.
We got blindsided when we got off the cruise ship Friday.
My cell rang, and my dad was tellling me the high estimates for the A/C repairs,, and they didn't feel they could trust the service company.
So we made it straight up and saved him and the neighbors a good chunk of cash, and had a good time.
I had no idea it gets that hot up there.
We love the heat,,, most boaters do.
We'll hook up when we get a bit more notice.
Dae Woo seemed to be a popular mini Bobcat type loader.
Couldn't find them on the net.
Are they priced right?

I have a Case skid steer 1845c... same as a bobcat but made by Case.
--as to "why" I still have it, it's only been used on 3 landscape jobs, I
mainly use it for moving stuff around on my property.
