A few weeks ago I was looking at the cp performance website and found this boat under readers rides and noticed it was located about 5 miles from my house . I stopped by there a few days ago and looked at the boat and he showed me the pictures of the complete restoration that he had done to it which included replacing every single piece of wood in the boat. Moving the pump back 5 inches and just about everything he had done including building the scoop on the engine cover to clear the "offshore" exhaust manifolds that he was using on the 460. Last year he torched the motor on Nitrous and had it rebuilt but never reinstalled.
God knows how many hours because there was a lot of wood in this and showed me the pics of it completely gutted to just a fiberglass shell. He owns a reputable body shop and restored several other boats including an 82 foot house boat.
Well I picked it up friday minus motor and pump which he going to use in building a deck jet.....
Spent the day yanking out a g pump and hardin marine 460 in my Apollo so hoping to get this thing on the lake in a few days.
