THIS WAS MY FIRST FLATBOTTOM. A '78 MAKO RUNNER. THEY THOUGHT IT COULD RUN IN THE TOP ALCOHOL FLAT CLASS. I NEVER SUPPORTED THAT DECISION(NOT THAT IT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME). I REALLY HOPE NO ONE WAS HURT!!

THEY DID ALL THAT ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. I THINK KEVIN DID THE CAPSULE IN IT.....

damn, looks like somebody got after that thing with a chainsaw. eek! Was "Saved by the Grace of God" put on the nose before or after the wreck :confused:

wilder, That was a pretty nasty crash. I was there and saw the whole thing. When they brought the capsule back the lid had been ripped off. Luckly Jerry only sustained minor injuries...he had some injuries to his hands and bruising on his body. I think that he is looking for another boat and is going to try and make Phoenix.
