Generally how much more can you expect to pay on insurance for a 4x4 vs a 2wd.... might have a new ride and was considering 4wd. I dont need it but...
any other thoughts?

When I checked with my insurance company there was no difference what so ever. I think it may vary though. I checked with state farm and Viking.

You won't get charged for 4X4. The difference in the value will cause the 4X4 to be a little higher (but not much).
