I've got an 06 Dodge Ram with factory installed Nav package. Does anyone know if a back-up camera can be hooked up to it so when you go into reverse you can see behind the truck on the nav screen?

I have the same truck but I put the alpine in-dash in the truck, with the backup camera, but I don't know if it will work with the stocker. I will say this I can back up to the boat with the camera perfect, I don't need any help to hook her up

Sweet. I've got a cover over the bed and can't see when backing.

I have a factory H2 hummer Nav unit in my GMC truck. I have a PAC devise that makes the factor head unit a back up camera and Have a DVD player coming into it as well. Google search PAC.... Toby

An alternative is get yourself one of these:
http://media.mainstreetcommerce.com/3.9/media/get_image.aspx?domain=audiosavings.com&item_guid=ccbe30d7-14a1-4537-b87f-3dc3d03771a6&size=1
$39.95 and you can mount it just about anywhere as long as you have power to it.
I have bought alot of stuff from these guys and they have great service.

Get on line and search, there are a lot ofg places that will take your stock nav unit and add extra inputs for this kinda thing. The cameras are easy to get too.

What words did you search? I only came up with one place and it was in NY.

We have one in our f350, its in the dash and when its not in reverse its the screen for the stereo and DVD, its awesome. No more fighting with the hubby because I didn't line him up just right. I does it all by hisself now and perfect everytime.
