He's out here in Rrrancho Cucamonga, at Victoria Gardens. Damn camera phone didn't take picture. Oh well. Pretty non-eventful campaign stop, as most people were supporters. He said this area voted about 80% in favor of recall. Although he did say we should all set our thermostats to 38! Then his staff corrected him, and he said 78! Then he headed into the Yard House, for happy hour, I'm guessing. Maybe not.

Just shook hands w/the Governator....
Boy I had this thread all wrong when I first read the title. I was thinking this guy is shaking hands with HIS governor as the expression goes. Ok, wasn't a metaphor, it was literal. :rollside: (Don't mean to jack the thread).

Seems like that's how it is in most races nowadays. You're mostly left with picking the lesser of two evils. We need a third party that captures how the real majority of people feel.

You could always do like 80% of retired CHP officers, claim post traumatic stress disorder, or some other imaginary illness, thier is a whole list of them in the CHP retirement manual. :rollside:
You would get your full pension (tax free) staring now, full medical benifits, and a large cash settlement from workmans comp.
You would not have to worry about taking benifits from someone who was actually hurt on the job, your unions would just pressure politicians to raise taxes, and vote for legislation to keep the money rolling in. It's nice to see socialism works for some, while the majority get hosed.

lets keep things in perspective, that is admin people from all across the board who get these outrageous WORKMAN COMP claims... the line workers struggle to pay the mortgage when things go wrong....
get your facts straight

Jeanyus

I got my facts straight, of course I got my education from union teachers who can't teach, and to be fair, the public workers aren't the only ones doing the workmrns comp scam.
If your in the CHP long enough you end up in admin, so 80 % of former CHP officers are working the system.

It's usually a max of 50% of the salary for injury retirements.

WOW jeanyus. geanius you aren't! I got my edumication from Cali union teachers and my college and union apprentice education make me a fare wage for a fares day work at my union job. Union workers take a bad rap for a few that exploit the system but I think union trained workers are a credit to education escpecially at a college level.
Yeah everyday I go to work could be my last. Been living that stress for 15 years now. All the atta boys only need one oh shiat to get you fired at my UNION JOB.
