In the last 30 years, I've bought New Rudders, Good Used Rudders, but I have never had one repaired. My question is, can they be repaired when they are worn, or do they just weld a new shaft on the old plate??? The Rudder I run now works perfectly and I would hate to change that. Does anyone have a suggestion where to go in SoCal ???

Larry's busy wearing out rudders while I'm busy flat-spotting my dolly wheels from setting in the garage.

I make rudders , What material is yours? Steel ?? We used to have one that was made out of Aluminum/Titanium along with many other parts, (like the driveshaft and such), from the First D'Cucci that was made, but after showing them to Andy Casales, he said they were probably made and machined at Northrop because it would take a facility like that. Anyway .... yes I need a rudder. Where are you ???

Not too far from you.Just a little north of the valley. If you like I can duplicate it for you from any material you want. I make struts turn fins just about anything for boat gas. :D

Larry, schiada96 makes some bitchen stuff.
So far for my boat he's made the turn fin, strut and some transitions for my turbos. The craftmanship is really nice.
