I have this boat that i am going to put together and would also like another
one. it doesnt have any numbers or anything to identify it. it was originaly a
jet. i would like to know? what size engine, what pump, what year it was built,
and how they performed/handled. since there is no signes of reg. numbers or hull id numbers i think it might be from an amusement park or private lake?
any info on these boats is appreciated. thank you in advance.
mitch
p.s. i am planning on finding pump/engine from newer 3 seat pwc
if anyone knows of a wrecked one for sale please let me know.

Hmmm. I really can't tell much from that.
I am not sure even Old Rigger can help you without a pic or something.

They used to have those in Galveston Texas 18 or so years ago.
It was a small square lake and they had about 8 of them.
you and some buddies could race them on a course sort of like a gokart track
,so much for 15 minutes. It was fun but i think it closed after 1 season.
Don't remember what engine they had but they moved pretty good and were
very stable. The ones i saw were painted like Batman's boat. :)

Yep Yep
There was no line so we gave them a try. When we were thru running there were at least 20 people waiting.I think he let us ride longer to draw attention.
They were fun But his setup was kinda crude.Didn't see them the next time we made it down there.I don't think anyone took pics.

Looks like this one (http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-arctic-marine-arctic-cat-jet-boat-speed-boat-no-res_W0QQitemZ320011177667QQihZ011QQcategoryZ80653Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) . There are alot of Mercury Sport Jet powered boats that go through Ebay. You may be able to repower it with one of those. I've occationaly seen the SportJet engine packages go through the parts section just keep an eye out.
