Can anyone out there tell me the purpose or reason for the two oil pipe plugs that screw into the berkeley bowl? Do I need to add oil or anything to it?
If so what grade should I use? I have looked all over for this info but cant seem to find a thing.
Thanks,
Chris

Just to add to this. How often do you guys;
1. Add oil to the bowl.
2. Grease your driveshaft
3. grease your steering hardware.
I do all 3 once per weekend... before the first run for the weekend. Im sure thats plenty for the greasing... but is that enough for the oil in the bowl?

:idea: Don't forget your thrust bearing and the bearing buddies on the trailer! Might as well check the dipstick too.
