When I was close to taking delivery of the new 34” party cat, I called my insurance guy Devin Wozencraft at Farmers – Nothing against Devin he’s been great, but his underwriter would not write the polices for the type of water craft with twin engines (496HO) What it came down to was the speed. Write ups in the boat magazines showed it as 80mph boat. I have only seen 72mph in the last 30hr of use but whatever.
So then it was time to scramble to get boat insurance I got hooked up with Randy at State Farm- life was great 1800. a year sent him a check for the full amount and I picked up the boat.
Today, I received a letter from State Farm stating my Cancellation Date of 8/6/06 “This action is being taken because of the high performance characteristics of this boat” WTF!!!
K- IÂ’m done whining or at least until I get the new rate
Anyone have other referrals? IÂ’m calling these two in the a.m.
