Hi Mike
I have a question on your motor mounts. What is the purpose of the small plates under the motor plate? I put arrows pointing to the plates in question. I was not sure if they were for engine alignment or that you did not want aluminum rubbing on aluminum.
Also what does your shop use for side gunnel fuel tank mounts? I was looking for something other than those vinyl dipped brackets.
That for your answers. Your shop does some great work.

You are correct. Those are stainless pads designed to save the aluminum. These are common in circle boats with solid driveline applications. The idea is to set the motor down on the back of those pads then slide it forward meshing the splines of the driveline to the power take off. Then you anchor the motor down.

this also helps to prevent scratching your polish job or your anodizing /powder coatings

Joe we can make you some custom mounts like these. The mount would be smaller of course.
