I'm selling my 70 Hondo Flatbottom to make room in the garage for the Howard. It is turn-key, ready to go. Ford FE 417 ci. Software dyno 510 hp @ 487 ft/lbs torque. It has around 25 hours on it since complete rebuild. Have all receipts and documentation. Pics to follow or can be seen at rivertoys.com it's the first "Featured Boat" $6000 takes it home. Mike

VERY NICE! Which FE block does it have?

The Block is a 390 ci +.030 w/ a 428 crank, that's how I come up w/ the 417 ci. My motor builder specalizes in FE motors and built it for the application. Some stock motors from Ford came with this motor combo...FE410 was in some Mercurys. Find me a buyer and there is a Finders Fee in it for you. Mike

OK guys, I'm bringing back my post from last fall. I still need to find a new home for my 70 Hondo. It's not a Blown T-Deck with a paint job that cost 2 months salary but it is ready to go. Someone has to have a buddy who wants to own their own V-drive. I have all the paper work on the motor and it only hit the water 2 times last year. $250.00 to the guy who finds me a buyer. Thanks - MikeC@iwestco.com

Six thou for a turn-key v-drive is not a bad deal.
Just a matter of personal taste; if it were a 385 series (429-460), I'd be all over it!
How 'bout you, 058? Know anybody?

Waterloged, I live in Boise Id. and run it at Lucky Peak reservoir. Ya, I have had it up to 78.5 mph on GPS. It has 15% gears with a 2 blade 11 3/8 X 15 prop. The math says it will do a little faster, low 80s. WIth a little Nitrous, and another 1000 rpm maybe 90. My motor guy is reputable and I have every receipt, I spent a lot of time going through the boat the winter of 2000. Just ask my X. I just don't need to own 2 boats. Thanks
