As a Cub fan, it was sad to see Maddux traded. As you know, we got Cesar Izturis in return. All I know is that he has a couple gold gloves, so he'll be a good middle infielder, but...does he have potential in the batter's box? His avg. looks pretty weak as does his OBP.

He's got a lot of potential, he batted over .300 before last years all star break, which if my memory serves me correctly is about the time he got hurt. He was an all star last year. IMO you got the better end of the deal. Maddux is the professor but he's getting old.
