Met another person from Boeing, third this summer. Aero-Space worries. I have two brothers, one at Northrop and one at Falcon. One lady told the story of wheel coming undone on a tandom trailer 15 miles off the 10 going up Rice road after a late start from LA. No one would come and tow, spent the night in the truck. Lot's of weeds in the channel, had to lift the drive twice on Sat. Thanks to all the great people we met, (as we always do) Saturday in the Channel. Here's our view from the Channel.

My brother works outa Utah for them.. Comes into OC about every month on business. :rollside: :argue: Told me they are closing the Anaheim plant  and reloacting folks to HB and some of them are opting for NOT doing it since they live in Temecula and the additional drive would suck. :yuk:

I still work at the "Lazy-B Ranch" and love it. Everett Wa. weather sucks and it's a long haul to Havasu but I made it down to LHC in May to pick up my project boat. I sure do miss that place.

From what I hear...it's the C-17 that is ending it's run...only a couple left on the line, most for export. Weekend next door neighbor, great guy, is a parts chaser for the line and everytime he is up for a weekend...not a happy boy, he is very close to getting the checks for life and he is worried.

Yes, the C17 is almost done. They still trying to get some overseas sales. Seems the only local companies with work at the moment are Lockheed and Northrop.

Just heard Boeing received a $780 million contract to build C-17’s for Australia.
Also 3 or 4 from Canada and maybe 3 for NATO :)

That's what the guy next door tells, building them for down under and up North. N just keeps pumping out the Hornets. Brother a "grey beard" there. Now when they sell to the Navy, it is the whole package. "We got your carrier, we got the escorts, we got the plane...we got it all!"
