Not a huge deal but pisses me off, I get ready to get into my truck this moring to go to work and I see that there is stuff strewn all over as I get in. My case of CD's is missing about 50, but the crazy thing is my road side pack is still there, and I'm really glad they didn't get into the back back. They had pryed my drivers door handle and screwed my door up, and broke a couple things inside.
Has anyone else had a problem of break in's on late model chevy's or gmc's? It's an 03 Avalanche.

the problem isn't with your vehicle it's with your neighborhood

That spot has been a problem for GM for years. I had a plate made to block a screw driver getting around the handle. It doesn't stop the damage to the door handle area but it will keep them from getting in easily. Crooks want to get in and out quick.

I'm in green valley. I thought it was a good neighborhood.

Have seen a few different aftermarket companies making that same plate.

It will happen anywhere. My cousin had his little VW pickup broken into in West Irvine, took his stereo and a bunch of other stuff he had in there.
