We are looking for a swim platform that will look good and be functional on our 28 Advantage Victory.
I saw all different kinds at the sandbar and I am having trouble finding different styles online.
Advantage makes one and I have seen the one Baja makes but if anyone else has different options I would love to hear from you.
Any feedback on this subject would be great!

I would start at Advantage. I am sure they have 'glass as a standard unit; or billet as an option.

check out Dana.... I like those steps with the rubber inserts... helps keep the drunks from breaking their asses. :rollside:

Looks like one short one on each side of the drive is the norm.

Extreme Marine makes the tubular platforms and there are a few other companies in Florida that do as well. I put an extreme on my last boat, best add-on IMHO.

Here's a few pic's of my boat & swim step......
I fabricated the support brackets to hold the swim step far enough off the transom so that the "EuroStep" didn't cover too much...
I'm 6'2" and can sit comfortably on the step..........
The last photo is of me sportin' my Park Moabi tan !!!...Too much Crisco!!

I am new to the site and saw thread about swimsteps for the Advantage Boat. I have a 27' Advantage. I purchased the boat with the step already on it. The step was purchased from Extreme Marine. If you go to there website, go to the extreme offshore section, they have a photo of it on my boat. I really like the ladder setup.

Do you find the advantage platform slippery at all?
It seems like your exhaust might be lower than ours is...not much room on ours.

Mine is not slippery, but it is not the step that Advantage sells....
Mine is the prototype for the Advantage step....
The Advantage step is the same size as mine, but constructed differently...
With that said, that Advantage step works well and is not too slippey, just not as porous as mine.....
I moved my exhaust up when I installed my new engine, as it use to be below the water line....
If your tail pipes are above water, then they should be at about the same height, I would not think they would be higher......
