I might be able to help. Also V-drive Tom @ Menkens is a good place to look.
Need to know a few things. What deg box do you have? What ratio and rotation are you looking for?

Break out then! Still looking for 12 and 18 10-degree RH. Looks like I'm going to have to step up to the plate and give Casale a call. $$$

I may have 12's in the box of your old boat. I am thinking I will want 15's. Have you got 15's?

What are the #s on the v-drive case.. That would tell the degree of the box/gears....

I have 15's Morg, but I want to hang onto them. I also have 9's, 22's and 25's. I might be willing to let go of the 25's after we test all of our new props, hopefully in 4 to 5 weeks. If you want to sell your 12's, let me know. I'll buy them from you.
Superdave - I need to get my 22's and 25's lightened. Interested? How much?

ScottI was told that this is done before they are heat treated. From what I understand they are some hard mofo's. I do wanna try it anyway though. Anyone have any bad, damaged or worn out ones that I can chew on??

LOL, THOSE GEARS I THINK ARE LIKE 40-50 ROCKWELL. USE A COATED CARBIDE , TURN IT SLOW, THEY WILL CUT. NASTY JOB ON A MANUAL MACHINE! ! !

Superdave I have lightened several sets they are case hardened. We use ceramic to bust through the crust then use carbide to finish. We run several at a time for 75.00 a set. Just let me know if you have any questions. j.j.

Thanks Buddy. I will probably take you up on that when I get ready. Yeah I am just a couple of weeks away    It is starting to feel like a couple of years. I should have the new tank next week, after I build the tank mount, I am going to start taking all the hardware out of the hull. eek! eek!
BTW-Let me know if you want to borrow the 12's I have in the box.
Morg.

I have no clue on what they sell for and really don't need the 22's.
If someone would give me an idea of a fair price I might part with them...
