That yard and pool is incredible. You should become a landscape designer.
Surprised you havent been featured in one of those magazines that show peoples yards.

Pool was way under 180 ;)
Water bill to fill was almost nothing. Santa Clarita doesn't charge a waste fee on water so it was like $62.00
The rock alone took over 8 weeks to install
castaic Masonry did the entire job. I owner/builder'd with him on the pool and he subbed everything out.
I designed the entire front and back yard, including the pool and the rocks.

Absolutely bitchen! Now I know why the boat is for sale! Who needs to go to the river, when you have the Playboy grotto right in your very own backyard! :)

I'm guess'n even with owner build.....and with the outdoor California room was 90-110k. I could be way off base, but the owner build with one general contractor saves alot of $$$$.

That is what I was thinking. If it wasn't subbed you would be looking in the range of 150 - 200K.
Backyard is awesome. :rollside:

We have a similar project going. Finished the pool 2 years ago but still working on all the rock work and water slide.
It is a lot of $$ though. My wife uses the pool to teach swim lessons during the summer so at least it's generating some cash for the lake trips!

It cost less than a DCB
It costs less to insure, with no layup (if I heat it)
Natural gas is cheaper than 92 octane
I don't have to drive 5 hours to get to it
It is an investment (if you count the house), not a depreciating piece of fiberglass.
But I still love my boat!
I still need a bunch of trees/palms and I still need to do all of my landscape lighting. But other than that it is pretty much finished.
Anyone who wants to come check it out, or take a swim, let me know. But I said I am broke now so you need to bring the drinks! :rollside:
Thanks for the compliments everyone.
