That 555 boat is bitchen. What kind of hull is that? Is that beast on alcohol? I'd guess they would line you up with a capsule boat w/ that motor set up! Sure is nice!

That was my Cole TR-1 blown gas flat.I bought it from a pawn shop in Lake Havasu.It was set up for the river but after 7years of tinkering it wound up at Bako.My buddy Al and I were just getting it dialed in when I traded it for a blown alcohol hydro (Quick Shot).Were running the 7-7.49 bracket in NJBA this year.Were looking at capsule hulls now for next year.

Scottys: Thanks for the info. I've seen Quick Shot run many times. That boat is legendary, especially to people whom are familiar with CFW. Good luck at Ming and with the capsule boat search. You my friend are on the right track! Also, you've most likely already seen this, but there are some sweet hydros set up for capsules for sale on dragboats.com. ps you sure do post on this website early in the morning!

Sangster: The pics of the Western Mag Special was Dave's 1st time out with the new paint job and a new motor set up. He did 113mph on a mild tune up. Aren't those the lowest profile pickle forks you've ever seen on a Sanger? I heard that before Dave got it, the previous owner sank it by taking some waves over the front dash while at low speed.
Is Chronic Relief still for sale? I love that thing.

A... We still have it.. Really don't need to sell, Really don't want to sell.. But for the right $$$ I would let it go.....

Being in construction in Arizona in August you have to get up early.Darren Christle is shoeing the new Lucas boat at San Diego.I'm dealing thru Scott Owens for the purchase of there old boat.Looking to run pro mod.

Scottys: Pro mod kicks ass. you've got a huge headstart on me! I just bought my 1st boat and it doesn't have a motor. Right now I'm having the sringers, floor, and bulkhead replaced. I am shooting for racing Ming next season.
Man that old Lucas Oil boat sounded cool with the turbo.

This is right before the paint for my brother's hydro. He has photos of what it was like the day we brought it home. Fiberglass Unlimited had worked their magic on it at this point.

All of this stuff needed some cleaning, but I also have some beautifully polished parts from Britex Metal Polishing in Carmichael, CA.
