How do you know unless you judge them? Humans make judgement calls. Some are quick and unwarranted and some are carefully pondered. Time is what it takes to get to know someone and build a friendship or to figure out or judge that that is not possible.

when I think of friends ...they are the people closest to our hearts ,, weather we have know'n them for one min or a life time, it realy does not matter soo long as you know who they are and what they mean to you ,as a person ....... as far as friends go you have friends and you have dear friends, and you have close friends , and there is your best friend/s...for me i have alot of all the above but ,the one i love the most is the person that i share my life with , the woman i would gladly give my life for with out a doubt.. :)

Hey, I feel the same way. I don't pick friends based on things like that. I am very lucky because I have the best friends in the whole world, including my best friends that I've known since 2nd and 3rd grade. They're like sisters...I know I can count on them always and vice versa. I'm very blessed. :)

A friend in a low place isn't necessarily a low person. I've been blessed with very dear friends from all walks of life also. It was admittedly an unfair question and one I myself could not answer. I didn't vote. I know from experience I don't get to choose who to count on. The friend I need is always just there cuz they already know they are needed. :smile:
