Lets just say my truck is dirty and RR is nowhere to be found....
I hope Bretch doesn't do this kind of work or RR could be in a world of hurt after the wifey loads the trunk up with Nordstrom bags :D

Hmm....last I remember water weighed about 8.5lbs per gallon. Therefore a 100gal tank even if full shouldn't weigh much more than 850lbs unless the tank itself is made out of lead or something. Maybe his brake shop is on Saturn or something

Something ain't right with this story. 100 gal @ 830#, tank maybe 100#, genset typically 150-200#, buffers 100# max. That's about 1200#. We need another 1400#. Can't see there being enough room under the topper.
Plus I don't buy into a Chev truck frame bending that easy. I'm sure a bunch of us have seen these trucks offroad taking punishment.

Lets not for get the shell at anywhere from 75-250 lbs...40 gal gas tank, cleaning supplys..
If it really did have 2600 lbs in the back I can see this happening... but not by just lifting. Maybe if it had a shock IE slmased down on the lift then maybe.
Only thing that does not add up is if there was that much wieght in the back why did it not fall off back ward off the lift...

My guess is they just gave it a " body lift" by improper use of the shop lift.

I'm in the business too and if he had a whole truck mount carpet cleaning system in there he would have also had the vac motors, 100+ gallon recovery tank, etc,.
But these should never be installed in anything but a van for 1 thing and if he was stupid enough to do that would he be real stupid enough to not empty his recovery tank as well.
If he was over the Gross Vehicle Weight his insurance co. should tell him to pound sand.

We have a regular town center going on at BML. We got to know our neighbors last year and we have more coming up. All told, we'll have at least 5 or 6 spaces in a row on the GC. Can't wait. We're looking to do a tropical bar theme this year.
