So fellow coffee drinkers what's your recipe and does it affect how much coffee you drink/day?
Just curious. A lot of people know that I drink a lot of coffee; about 3, 10 cup pots/day. This doesn't change no matter how weak or strong I make it so I tend to make it weak knowing I'll still drink at least as much, but not significantly more than usual. Currently got Maxwell House Rich dark roast @ 50ml or 1/4 cup grounds to 10 cups water. If I use regular roast then it's 75ml/pot. Either way it's definitely not according to directions on package (although if somebody else makes it "the right way" I do still enjoy it ... and still only drink it black.) . I'm a little concerned that I may be stripped of my user title now. :D
Nahh, I'm happy with my :coffeycup , my way .

Like I said before, "sleep is over-rated".
I like it strong with cream, no sugar. Starbucks, Ghirradelli. Fu-fu stuff, but strong baby. Gotta be srong.

Since its so damn hot here I don't drink it much in the summer. But in the winter, easy 6-10 cups a day. Summer, 6 Diet Cokes a day :220v:

I do another no-no with my coffee in the summertime; I make it the night before and turn it off so I can drink it "not hot" in the morning. :crossx: Black and cold is just fine with me. :D I once tried a coffeeshop black iced-coffee though that was not palatable at all - tasted burnt, bitter and rancid greasy ( ). :yuk: I gave it to my ex. He added cream and sugar and finished it off. :squiggle:
I'll take my caffeine however I can get it; coffee, espresso, diet cola, dark chocolate, wake-up pills, low carb energy drinks, whatever is handy in a pinch aka if I can't access any coffee. Caffeine=good. :D I suspect I'm addicted.

I use French Roast at home (Starbucks whole beans purchased from Costco) and grind as needed. I'll have a few very strong cups in the AM then end up hitting Starbucks late morning or early afternoon for a nonfat latte or espresso.
