My Fiancee and I just put our money down on a new home in north phoenix (carefree crossing)
Here is the link to the model...

3800 square feet on a 12000 foot lot... We liked this location since
I'll be close to lake pleasant/scottsdale and not that far from downtown phoenix.. We should be there by Nov or early Dec..
Hopefully I can get together with some of you Phoenix peeps out there.
Looking forward to it..

CONGRATS!
Good luck on the move and new digs!
For what it's worth, consider having the builder reduce the size of BR#4 closet and put a stacked washer/dryer across from that upstairs bath. 90% of all of your dirty clothes are generated upstairs and you'll be schlepping clothes up/down stairs (yuck!)

Too late CampbellCarl.. This was a home that fell out of escrow and the builder needed to get rid of it, so they reduced the price by 50k for a quick sale.. but yeah, going up and down stairs with laundry is a biacht!

Congrats on the move. Hope you are not a commuter. The 17 blows for rush hour traffic, especially on the afternoon loop 101 to I-17 interchange.

Nice! Congrats.
We're hoping to do the same thing later this year. The hiring process for Mike's new job is taking a million years so who knows when we will finally get there. I had a phone interview today with a manufacturing company and they want me to go in and interview in person. Yayyy.
I like the market over there right now...lots of houses on the market.

Call Bob "CallBob4Homes" and look on the east side. Commuting from Surprise to Tempe would suck. Lots of good deals closer to your work. Surprise is a traffic nightmare.

4th Largest, Roosevelt is bigger--double the size, as well as San Carlos and Alamo Lake. The latter two are more fishing lakes though that are almost always near empty.

Not really. I went by it last year and it looked pretty good. I've never boated there though. I think its about 10% full now. :(
