I currently have the single cable style in my boat;I notice some play in my steering with that style; which is probablly normal. How does calgo differ from? Are their improvement gains?

I have the dual cable Calgo and every few weekends I have to tighten up the cables. Great system when the cables are tight and greased

I agree, much better set up. The ratio is different than the rack set up you have now, so the steering is much more sensitive. The part that is goona be a hassle is modifying your transom plates, you will also have to get a custom tiller made for your diverter so there is a place for both cables to attach.
