Since their aren't alot of flatbottom jets around nowadays, I figured I show how they did it in the beginning. The pump is rebuilt, and it and the intake are detailed. The 390 is all machined, and will come home tomorrow for assembly and detailing. Thanks for all the feedback on the cam choice. I picked a 280h..... 230@.050 and .530 lift. Nothing earth shattering, but this sucker will holeshot like nobodies business (and beat the crap out of me when it gets on plane)

Thanks. If I re-gel it, it'll be as original, but at this point, I'm just getting the drivetrain and interior restored. I'll colorsand and buff this gel to bring it back as far as possible, then RUN it!

I have a 69 Weimann. Good handling boat. My pump is not a set back. How do you go about doing that?? Also, does your have a droop snoot and did it help?

i have a 67 weimann and my bowl is outside of the transom. Where the bowl bolts to the intake is about an inch or so past the transom...
