Dakar question

OK...this may be a dumb question...but why don't we see ATV's running the Paris Dakar rally....do they run but we just don't see them being covered...or do they not have a class for them. If not, WHY??

They run them, just no coverage (there has also in the past been a motorcycle with sidecar class as well)
I think last year there were less than 10 quads, I think 3 finished. Not sure how many this year. Last year there was about 15 seconds of quad coverage. I think if the class continues to grow with better finishing results we'll see more coverage.
