Polished or Coated Jet Pump

I am wanting to refinish the outside of my G Pump before installing it back into the boat. I checked into having hpc put a coating on it except they said it would not hold a finish in the water.
I want a polished aluminum appearence but without the extensive labor...Any recomendations???

Have it powder coated. Many colors to choose from.

polished is a pain in the ass. my hallett is done and it is work to maintain it. i tried clear coat on it and it yellowed. powder coat it and walk away.

What about hard anodizing after you polish? Just curious in your case since it was polished already.
